Find me on:

Here at Amilia product quality is paramount. We have an amazing team of developers who work hard upgrading our platform to meet your needs. Our development team is by far our largest team and they are close knit high functioning team that we are extremely proud of. One of our web developers is Francisco. He originally hails from Brazil but the weather was too wonderful for him down there so he made his way up north where we snatched him up! We asked him 10 questions so you can get to know him better!

Explain your job at Amilia

I’m a web developer who works mostly on transitioning the old part of the platform - we call it “legacy code” - into a better and more maintainable code which also looks much better on the front-end.

What was your last search on Google?

I was searching for furniture movers in Montreal.

You enter an eating contest. What food?

Japanese Sushi!

What is your TV guilty pleasure?

I don’t watch TV often but I appreciated the richness and authenticity found on The Vikings from the History Channel.

What’s your favourite Amilia feature?

As I was a part of it, I have come to appreciate the features Amilia recently provided to make the concept of Federation possible. The flexibility to adapt to business requirements is also great - can I consider this an “internal feature”?

Pick one: Bacon or Nutella?

I prefer salty food first, so it’s Bacon.

What word are you guilty of using too often?

”Thanks”. I show appreciation of little things.

What’s your favourite thing about working at Amilia?

The developers are united in problem solving. We help each other and learn together. Creative problem-solving is encouraged. I enjoy the people, dogs in the office, the fruits basket… I could go on.

What’s your favorite app?

Spotify - it has broadened my musical horizons. It amazes me the quality of music we find from other countries.

Pick one: Kittens or puppies?

I love animals and I’ll favour our loyal friend, the dog.
