Explain your job at Amilia
I’m a developer who works mainly on administrative tools that are used by Amilia employees: tools that generate financial reports for the company, receipts for companies using Amilia, and tools that allow our support specialists to configure our clients’ accounts.
What was your last search on Google?
“How to be a Dad for Dummies”…nah, that’s a bit cheesey. Honestly it is was: “MMOs for families 2015”. I adore MMOS (mass multiplayer online games). I have five kids between ages 2 and 12 and a wife who also loves MMOS as much as I do so I try to combine these two worlds: spend time with the family while enjoying my favourite hobby.
What one thing drives you absolutely crazy?
Hypocrisy. I can’t even.
You enter an eating contest. What food?
Raspberries and strawberries. I stop when I hit the bottom! Unless I explode before…
What’s the wallpaper on your phone right now?
It’s a bit geeky. It’s a Star Wars background representing the Republic and the Empire together in one symbol.
What word are you guilty of using too often?
“mmhmm” with different intonations…I respond like that way too often.
What’s your favourite thing about working at Amilia?
The team. To love your job is one thing but to do the job you love surrounded by a team of people who are just as passionate about and dedicated to their work as you are, that makes all the difference.
What is your TV guilty pleasure?
I’m constantly watching shows on Netflix. As soon as I finish one, I’m on to the next one so it’s hard to say. I really enjoyed Breaking Bad.
What’s your favourite Amilia feature?
A tool that I worked a lot on but that’s unfortunately only visible to the Amilia team. That being said, it’s a tool that I love and that let’s us see a ton of information and stats about our company.
Pick one: Bacon or Nutella
