At Amilia, our team is expanding at breakneck speed. Recently, we created several new teams, including one responsible for business development. They deal mainly with our partners with whom we can establish excellent relationships. A new intern recently joined the team. Learn more about him!

Explain your job at Amilia

I work with the business development team! Our goal is to develop strong partnerships with key members of our industry.

If you were an animal, which one would you be?

Killer whale for sure! They are the predators of the seas. They eat fish, dolphins, seals and even whales, what a yummy diet. Plus, they are friendly animals. "Free Willy" was my favorite movie when I was younger, so I guess I relate to that.

What is your favorite series of the moment?

As of right now, I am not watching any. I just finished "How I Met Your Mother." I really loved the characters, but I was disappointed by the ending. It was as if the writers did not know how to end it!

Choose: cat or dog ?samuel-gaouette-photo.jpg

Easy pick, dogs for sure! Cats always manipulate humans to have food. Wake up people!

What do you think is the most useful mobile application?

The Score sports app, I need to keep track of where I am at in my fantasy teams (baseball, hockey). I need to know which friends I can brag to!

What’s your favorite thing about working at Amilia?

The team and the overall ambiance. Everyone is so dedicated to their work, while still being open and friendly. The fast-paced environment is motivating. Your days never feel long!

What is your dream travel destination?

It changes depending on the season. As of right now, it would be Hawaii. I need the sun and hot days back in my life. Winter is slowly killing me! Plus, the rumor is that I was conceived in Hawaii so it would be a meaningful pilgrimmage for me!

Three words that define you:

Funny, Persistent, Passionate.

Nutella or peanut butter?

Peanut butter! I mean Nutella is good, but bottom line it’s just not a great snack. Plus, with peanut butter, you can make delicious recipes like peanut butter chicken, pad Thai, and more.

What is your favorite ice cream flavor?

Vanilla! It was a tough decision. My mind was split between vanilla and cookie dough. After giving it a lot of thought, I must give it ultimate classic status! (no! chocolate is not the ultimate classic, SORRY)

Do you enjoy the Montreal winters?

I love December! January and February are just too much, we don’t need them. February always seems like the longest month even though it’s the shortest. Can we exchange those two for one more June and one more July please? That would be so perfect. Two more months to play golf!
