Great designs always make a big difference for a company. It catches attention and is very important for your branding. At Amilia, we understand that and this is why we have one of the best out there: Kristen. Get to know her better!

Explain your job at Amilia

I am the Graphic Designer here at Amilia! I work with the Marketing team to help make their vision a reality. I create everything visual from the digital ads you see on Facebook to anything that needs to be sent to a printer.

If you were an animal, which one would you be?

A black panther. I just love how laid back they are. Also, one of my favorite Disney characters is Bagheera from The Jungle Book.

Choose: cat or dog ?

Although I love dogs, I am a cat person. I have two cats at home and they always put a smile on my face with the weird and crazy things they do.

What is the app you use the most?

Waze. I have zero sense of direction and I always choose the worst route. (Chances are if I tell you to go left, you should probably go right.) Waze has been saving me time and stress for the past 4 months!

What’s your favorite thing about working at Amilia?

Definitely the people and the culture. It’s nice and motivating working in a stress-free environment with such great and positive people.

What is your dream travel destination?

China. My dad grew up in Taiwan (he’s Canadian born overseas) and it’s always been a dream of mine to visit and see where my dad grew up. He is also fluent in Mandarin, making him the most ideal person to go with.

Three words that define you:

Happy, caring, excitable.

Nutella or peanut butter?

Peanut Butter, I admit to having a bit of a sugar addiction so I’m going to have to go with the healthier option.

What is your favorite ice cream flavor?

Pistachio. I like to try new things, but pistachio has never disappointed me!

Do you enjoy the Montreal winters?

It’s a bit of love-hate relationship. I like winter sports and love watching the snow fall, but I’m always cold, making it a little difficult to appreciate the winter.
