North Shore Extreme Cheerleading is a bilingual non-profit sports organization, located on the West Island of Montreal. They have been providing youth with the opportunity to participate in the sport of competitive cheerleading for over 40 years. North Shore Cheerleading has always been an active member of the community and is involved in the growth and development of the sport in the province of Quebec.
At North Shore everyone is welcome! Their goal is to offer a place where athletes can train hard individually but also learn the value of team work and commitment. They ensure that all North Shore athletes are given every opportunity to meet their full potential!
Cheerleading is a diverse sport that provides opportunities for children and adults to participate in recreational cheerleading. Recreational cheerleading is a perfect introduction to the basic elements of the sport of competitive cheerleading. For children, cheerleading is an excellent sport to develop motor skills as well as sportsmanship, team work and of course, HAVE FUN! Recreational cheerleading is available for children ages 18 months to 18 years old.
The sport of Cheerleading is broken down into competitive levels by age and ability. Cheerleaders do not cheer for a specific sport but work diligently all year toward executing a two and half minute routine to a panel of judges. Components of these routines include acrobatics, stunting, dance, tumbling and cheer motions. . Participation in competitive cheerleading develops life skills such as leadership, responsibility, self-esteem and personal growth.

Summer Cheer Day Camp
The North Shore summer camp aims to teach All-Star Cheerleading stunts, various dance styles, jumps and gymnastics! The camp also includes other summer activities like crafts, movies, theme week, pizza day, performances and theatre games! The coaching staff is fully trained, bilingual and fun! The camp allows its campers to learn new skills and make new friends!
