If you run a gymnastics club, then you know that enrollment determines a lot of things about your business.  Your gymnasts are the pillars of the organization, so keeping enrollment numbers up is essential.  Let's take a look at some tips you can use to increase enrollment for social organizations.

1.  Press Releases

Send out press releases in the community section of your local newspaper. It's free advertising and publicity.  If you have a competitive team, publish the competition results or a press release for an upcoming show.

2.  Have A Friend Day

Set aside a day occasionally when your members can bring their friends to class or practice.  You can give them a free month of membership or other giveaways to get them interested in your organization.

3.  Flyers

Flyers are an easy way to spread the word about your organization.  Just make sure you are clear and concise with your ad.  Then distribute the flyers around town.  Schools, businesses, and local hangouts are the perfect spots to place flyers.

4.  Create A Website

If someone hears about your gym and is genuinely interested, chances are they are going to go online first to look for more information.  Your club needs a site that lends credibility and gives basic information about the services it offers.

5. Referrals

This is one of the cheapest ways to get exposure for your business. Ask your members to get the word out. If you want, you can consider offering incentives to your existing members.  For example, you could give them gift cards or membership discounts for getting a friend to sign up.

6.  Network With Local Businesses

Take the time to stop in at other businesses and organizations within your community.  Introduce yourself and talk for a while; invite them to an upcoming event at your organization if possible.

7. Attend Community Functions

Go to events within the community to just shake hands and meet people.  Not everyone there will directly join your club, but they will probably talk to someone who is interested within their circle of acquaintances.  By showing up and greeting people you are spreading the word and building a respectable brand for yourself.  You may even want to consider offering to host the next community event at your gym.

These methods will help increase exposure and build up a name for your organization in the community that will provide a steadier stream of clients long-term.  Don't forget to keep current clients happy!
